Rogue Features
Cunning Action | You can take a bonus action on each turn in combat: Dash, Disengage or Hide |
Sneak Attack | Beginning at 1st level, you know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe’s distraction. Once per turn, you can deal extra damage to one creature you hit with an Attack if you have advantage on the Attack roll. The Attack must use a Finesse or a ranged weapon. You don’t need advantage on the Attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn’t Incapacitated, and you don’t have disadvantage on the Attack roll. |
Thieves’ Cant | a secret mix of dialect, jargon, and code that allows you to hide messages in seemingly normal conversation. Only another creature that knows thieves’ cant understands such messages. It takes four times longer to convey such a Message than it does to speak the same idea plainly; you understand a set of secret signs and symbols used to convey short, simple messages |

Bio:
Roland grew up on the rough-and-tumble streets of Kaldoros, a seaport city in the Grigorian empire. He made his living as a rat-catcher, but lived in fear of the wererat boss Miestro until one day an elf girl by the name of Riverwind arrived. Riverwind helped Roland send Miestro packing with an improvised silver-piece-shotgun-crossbow. Now Roland can apply for the position of senior rat-catcher.
Friends:
- Balink Sparkneedle – a wealthy gnome businessman who owns ‘Sideshow Alley’ at the Clockwork Carnival in Kaldoros, among other shady business enterprises. Asparagus the talking tabby cat blackmailed him into helping her catnap Morpholomew, King of Cats.
- Morpholomew, King of Cats – ruler of all the cats in Kaldoros.
- Ungrulf, Hound Lord – ruler of all the canines in Kaldoros.
Enemies:
- Asparagus – a silver-tongued green eyed tabby cat. Riverwind and Roland prevented his plot to usurp the throne of Morpholomew.
- Miestro, Rat Boss – wererat ruler of all the rats in Kaldoros. Riverwind and Roland prevented her plot to destroy the peace treaty between Morpholomew and Ugrulf. Miestro now lives in fear or Roland’s silver-coin-crossbow-shotgun.
